1. Commitment
JD Legal AB wants Macchiato Labs information and e-commerce functions to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people using assistive technology. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the design and testing target for this site.
2. Measures built into this site
- semantic headings, landmarks, labels, lists, and descriptive link text;
- a skip link and complete keyboard operation;
- visible focus indicators and no focus traps in the mobile menu;
- responsive layouts that support reflow and text zoom;
- high-contrast text and controls without colour-only status meaning;
- form labels, instructions, native validation, and live status announcements;
- reduced or removed animation when the device requests reduced motion;
- no audio or video that starts automatically; and
- printable policy pages that can be saved for later reference.
3. Conformance status
The site has not undergone a formal third-party conformance assessment. Internal testing uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its benchmark, and no known content barrier currently prevents access to the site’s core information or contact route.
Decorative animated elements are hidden from assistive technology and stop under reduced-motion preferences.
4. Compatibility
The site is intended to work in current versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile, with standard keyboard navigation and common screen readers. Core content remains readable if JavaScript is unavailable.
